Sales Development Representative Opportunity In Person: Lehi, UT / OR REMOTE

BetterRX is a leading hospice medication management platform that helps hospice teams provide faster, safer, and more compassionate patient care. Our technology connects hospices, prescribers, and pharmacies with effortless medication ordering and tracking—reducing errors, improving efficiency, and elevating the patient and caregiver experience.

Role Overview

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating qualified opportunities for the sales team by identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospective hospice customers. This role is critical in fueling BetterRX’s growth engine through proactive outreach, consistent relationship-building, and relentless follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate new business leads.

  • Identify key decision makers and influencers (CEOs, Executive Directors, DONs, Medical Directors, Pharmacy Partners, etc.).

  • Build and maintain a strong top-of-funnel pipeline aligned to monthly quota goals.

Qualification
  • Engage prospects to understand their challenges and qualify interest using defined criteria (need, authority, timing, etc.).

  • Set high-quality discovery meetings for Account Executives.

Execution & Process Discipline
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in CRM.

  • Follow structured cadences and messaging aligned with BetterRX’s GTM strategy.

  • Track and optimize conversion rates across calls, email sequences, and meeting sets.

Collaboration
  • Provide consistent feedback to marketing and sales leadership on message performance and market trends.

  • Work closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoff and strong alignment.

Performance Metrics
  • Qualified meetings set

  • Conversions from inquiry → SQL

  • Daily/weekly activity volume and quality

  • Pipeline contribution toward revenue goals

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of SDR or lead generation experience (healthcare experience a plus, but not required).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Resilient, competitive, and motivated by measurable goals.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

We are a people-obsessed company on a mission to end needless suffering caused by medication delays through innovative software solutions that connect every member of the patient’s care team. In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for successful onboarding of new hospice clients and ad hoc training with existing clients, as well as new BetterRX employees in need of learning about our unique product capabilities. You will work closely with valued clients and internal cross-functional teams across the BetterRX organization. Ideal Candidate

You are self-motivated, accountable, poised under pressure, and driven by educating and delighting (even the most difficult) customers. You are known as a team player, trusted advisor, and master juggler… of projects, that is. You have a gift for clear, concise communication (both written and verbal) and love identifying process improvements to increase efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate successful onboarding with new clients within 30-45 days of the signed agreement
  • Assist physicians with ePrescribing setup
  • Identify onboarding process improvement opportunities to continue driving efficiency and scalability
  • Support Head of Onboarding & Training with meeting and exceeding team KPIs
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Lead onboarding and training initiatives as the primary point of contact for new clients
  • Lead training initiatives and ongoing education with existing clients in support of Client Success Managers
  • Educate BetterRX employees on product features and functionality 

Skill Requirements

  • Ability to manage up to 15 client onboardings simultaneously
  • Energetic, organized, and detail-oriented with meticulous follow-up and excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable speaking in front of clients, easily approachable
  • Technical aptitude to simplify and concisely educate clients about software capabilities and best practices
  • Professional and calm in working with difficult or upset clients
  • Self-driven and motivated with a desire to succeed in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Proficient with MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and CRM (e.g., HubSpot) for documentation and reporting needs
Other Requirements
  • 2-4 years client onboarding, training, or project management experience including enterprise clients 
  • Ability to work 100% remote
  • Up to 20% travel
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
