VP of Sales

Reports To: COO

Location: Remote / USA

Position Type: Full-Time/Regular



BetterRX is a growing software-as-a-service (SAAS) healthcare company looking for a VP of Sales for our hospice pharmacy services. We are on a mission to end needless suffering caused by medication delays, which directly supports with the mission of hospices to ensure the most comfortable and dignified passing possible for those in who are in their care. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading the hospice sales team to achieve our revenue growth goals.

  • Primary Responsibilities
  • Own the plan. Determine the path for achieving our sales growth goals (e.g., sales process, priorities, opportunities), building off what is currently in place. Make adjustments as required. Work closely with both the sales team and marketing team to ensure appropriate number and quality of opportunities. 
  • Support and train the team. Provide regular training to the team. Regularly join sales calls and provide feedback to the team members to improve performance.
  • Ensure the right team. Ensure we have the right individual team members for achieving our goals (e.g., recruit, hire, replace as required, etc.). 
  • Report on progress and get results. Achieve metrics in support of companywide goals, both leading and lagging.


Other Requirements

  • Highly capable of managing the full sales cycle including identifying opportunities, qualifying, discovery, needs assessment, negotiating and closing
  • Ability to learn the product at a highly proficient level as well as the competitive landscape
  • Demonstrated ability lead, manage, elevate, and coach a high-performing team
  • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with HubSpot preferred
  • Experience with hospice and/or hospice sales preferred
  • Experience with consultative and solution-based selling strongly preferred
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Up to 25% travel
