Sr. Financial Analyst

Reports To: Controller

Location: Remote

Position Type: Full-Time/Exempt

 

Summary

BetterRX is a growing software-as-a-service (SAAS) company in the healthcare industry looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team!

In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, developing forecasts, and providing recommendations that will influence the company's strategic decisions.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have strong financial acumen, advanced analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities to interact with various stakeholders across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement.

  • Develop financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.

  • Perform in-depth variance analysis and provide insights to improve financial performance.

  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments.

  • Monitor and report on budget vs. actual performance, identifying opportunities and risks.

  • Collaboration with the revenue team to streamline CRM reporting.

  • Prepare and present financial reports, including executive summaries, to senior management.

  • Create dashboards and data visualizations to effectively communicate financial insights.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for strategic initiatives.

  • Evaluate the financial impact of potential investments, projects, and acquisitions.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and implement best practices.

  • Continuously improve financial reporting and analysis tools.

Skill Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software tools.

  • Knowledge of HubSpot and Tableau

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to work 100% remote

  • Ability to travel for internal company summits (twice annually)

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA is a plus).
