Salary: $150,000 - $175,000

Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for timely month end close, ensuring accounting in compliance with GAAP
- Prepare month end supporting schedules for financial statements and help prepare month end financial statements
- Assist in annual financial statement audit
- Oversee maintenance of company forecast
- Oversee and monitor 13-week cash flow
- Ensure accuracy of billing twice monthly
- Review monthly reconciliations
- Review month end journal entries
- Improve/standardized practices throughout
- Prepare best practice policy and procedures
- Maintain banking relationships
- Managing sales tax and tax returns with outside tax accountants
- Managing debt covenant compliance
- Oversees the processing of Payroll
- Collaborates with the executives and directors to create budgets and track key performance indicators
- Oversees one member of the accounting team, potentially 2 in the future
Skill Requirements
- CPA
- Quickbooks
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- HIPAA knowledge
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work 100% remote in quiet home office with reliable, high-speed Internet access.
- 2 years+ audit experience and/or 5+ years accounting experience
- Accounting Degree
- Big 4 experiencerequired (Deloitte LLP, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young, KPMG)
- Ability to work 100% remote in quiet home office with reliable, high-speed Internet access
- Ability to travel for internal company meetings (usually twice annually)
