Sales Development Representative

Role Overview
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating qualified opportunities for the sales team by identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospective hospice customers. This role is critical in fueling BetterRX’s growth engine through proactive outreach, consistent relationship-building, and relentless follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate new business leads.
- Identify key decision makers and influencers (CEOs, Executive Directors, DONs, Medical Directors, Pharmacy Partners, etc.).
- Build and maintain a strong top-of-funnel pipeline aligned to monthly quota goals.
Qualification
- Engage prospects to understand their challenges and qualify interest using defined criteria (need, authority, timing, etc.).
- Set high-quality discovery meetings for Account Executives.
Execution & Process Discipline
- Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in CRM.
- Follow structured cadences and messaging aligned with BetterRX’s GTM strategy.
- Track and optimize conversion rates across calls, email sequences, and meeting sets.
Collaboration
- Provide consistent feedback to marketing and sales leadership on message performance and market trends.
- Work closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoff and strong alignment.
Performance Metrics
- Qualified meetings set
- Conversions from inquiry → SQL
- Daily/weekly activity volume and quality
- Pipeline contribution toward revenue goals
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of SDR or lead generation experience (healthcare experience a plus, but not required).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Resilient, competitive, and motivated by measurable goals.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
