The Story
When this hospice partner joined the BetterRX family, they utilized a wide range of medications under a large umbrella. Their EMR partner is MatrixCare, and it was important to them that their hospice pharmacy provider could integrate with them. Additionally, they desired the ability to view reports so they could better manage their medications and access cost analyses With these initial details in mind, let’s delve into their challenges!
The Challenge
A huge issue this hospice partner faced was their ability to view medications and manage costs. With this kind of process, their PPD was skyrocketing, and they were not certain the best way to counteract it. Their teams were also not well-versed in deprescribing and educating families at admission.
The Change
This hospice partner did an amazing job taking advantage of all that BetterRX has to offer. They regularly engaged in QSRs (Quarterly Strategy Reviews) with our Customer Success team, Clinical In-services with our Pharmacy team, and always strived for better processes. They involved their Medical Directors in calls and collaborated to implement changes across the board. Since switching to BetterRX, they have surpassed their target PPD and have sustained it over the last six months.
